   The Erechtheion
The Erechtheion was built
in 420 bc. It has an ionic style and is made of several separate parts, one part is dedicated to the goddess Athena, another part to the god Poseidon. It has an outside porch whose roof is supported by carved pillars, called the Caryatids, who are the maidens you can see here.

The Temple of Athena Nike
A Nike is a winged victory figure. This is the smallest of the temples, with just a row of four columns in front of each of its narrow sides. It was built next to the gatehouse to help protect the sanctuary area.
