Q1: How big was the head of T. rex?

[Answer]

Tyrannosaurus rex (T. rex) was one of the first hunting dinosaurs to be discovered. This is because it lived close to the end of dinosaur times and so its fossil bones were nearer the surface than those of earlier dinosaurs.

Like other hunters, T. rex had a huge head – about 1.5m long (about as long as you are tall!). But it was 4m tall at the hips and about 13m from nose to tip of tail. It weighed in at 7 tonnes.

Older T. rex were probably scavengers and may not have been able to run as fast as people used to think.
