Q1: What do you think was the most important thing the Victorians left for us?

[Answer]

The Victorian Age finished about a century ago.

During their time, the Victorians built the railways, a vast number of public buildings, roads and open spaces. They gave free schooling for all, they built countless town halls, hospitals and libraries, invented the seaside town, sewage works and the police force.

Most houses near to the centre of towns and cities are still Victorian and showing no signs of falling down.
