Q1: What are two good ways of telling a building is Victorian?

[Answer]

How do you know if a building is Victorian? If you are lucky, there will be a date plaque on the front (Victorians often did this).

Victorians decorated their buildings in patterns of bricks and tiles.

They built in 'heavy' designs with thick stone window frames, for example.

Some even tell you what they were first used for (words such as 'School Board', 'boys', 'girls', 'workhouse').
