Q1: What happened to Jewish people in Germany?

[Answer]

The Nazis targeted Jewish people and other groups such as gypsies. They wanted the country free of them. Today, we still have this wicked problem in some countries and we try to make it sound better by calling it ethnic cleansing.

The Jewish people in Germany were targeted throughout the 1930s. Some left the country. Things got worse in 1938 when Jewish shops were destroyed and then many Jewish people, including children, were rounded up and taken to concentration camps.
