Countries will set up national parks, but unless they have some benefit, they will not be large and they will not be cared for and protected properly.

They become valuable if they attract tourists. Eco-tourists are people who go on holiday to see rainforests and their wildlife. They bring money and employ people as guides, and to run hotels.

Here is a case where everyone wins – but enough people need to go.
