Prove to yourself that substances solidify when they cool.

Get hot water and a jelly. The jelly is solid when it comes from the packet, but melts and mixes with the hot water.

Leave the jelly to cool (preferably in a fridge) and see the jelly turn back into a solid again.

The big advantage of this activity is that you can eat the substance you experimented with!
