All liquids run, that is they flow. But some liquids are more runny than others.

Most liquids become runnier when they're warmed. Cooking oil is like this. They get runnier because the particles only hold on to one another very weakly. This allows them to move more freely.

Water is different to other liquids. It doesn't get more runny as it warms up.
