You need two tall clear jars for this, for example the kind of jars you keep spaghetti in.

Fill one jar with water and the other with cooking oil.

Drop identical marbles into each jar, making sure you drop them at the same time.

Watch how they move. The marble that reaches the bottom first is in the runnier liquid.
