Q1: What is the colour of a rock we get from a volcano?

[Answer]

Volcanoes make most of the rocks on the surface of the Earth.

These rocks come from deep below the surface. When they come to the surface they are runny – we call the runny material lava.

The lava is so hot it is yellow or red, but as it cools it changes from a liquid to a solid and turns black.
