The plant-eating dinosaurs were mainly large because they needed big stomachs to digest the plants of the time. These plants were poor in nourishment.

There were also two-legged dinosaurs including the hadrosaurs. You can tell these dinosaurs from the hunters (which were all two legged) because they have much smaller heads and often duck-shaped beaks.
