Another group of ancient plant-eating dinosaurs were called ornithopods, meaning 'bird-feet' because the shape of their feet was just like modern birds.

They were smaller than the sauropods.

Some walked on two legs. Many also had duck-like bills and crests on their heads. The most common of these were called the hadrosaurs.
