Q1: What were the main foods of the Vikings?

[Answer]

Vikings were farmers and they grew most of the food they needed. It was simple, consisting mainly of rye, oats and barley (not wheat) which they made into bread.

They also grew vegetables such as cabbages, onions and carrots.

They also reared pigs, chicken and geese.

Beyond the farmed area were vast woods in which they could also hunt for rabbit, deer and even bear. They could also catch fish in nearby rivers.
