Very few things last a long time. However, stone is one of them. So although we don't know a lot directly about Stone Age peoples, we can try to interpret things like the stone monuments they left behind.
These stone monuments come in three forms: stone circles, henges and burial chambers. The oldest circles and tombs are the earliest stone monuments know in the world (older than the pyramids).
