Hitler had colleagues who were very clever. One of them, called Joseph Goebbels, was in charge of the party's image.
Hitler was an excellent speaker and so Goebbels arranged for Hitler to appear before huge crowds of people.
In these rallies, Hitler told people he would give them their pride back. Eventually they made him Chancellor, the most powerful man in Germany.
