The 1960s was a time of far greater change than any other decade in the 20th century. It was a time when Prime Minister Harold Macmillan said "You have never had it so good" and he was right.
There was a revolution in the way teenagers dressed and behaved as a result of their having money to spend. Fashion and having a good time was very important, despite the troubles in the world such as the Cold War and the threat from nuclear bombs.
