Q1: What is the deepest part of the Colorado valley called?

[Answer]

Screen 7/9

The Colorado

The Colorado is the largest river west of the Rocky Mountains in the USA. It flows 2,300 km from the Rocky Mountains to the Gulf of California (in the Pacific Ocean). Its drainage basin covers 630,000 square kilometres.

So much water is taken from the Colorado to irrigate farmland and provide drinking water to California, that water leaving the source often never reaches the mouth in the Pacific Ocean.
