* Protecting the rainforest is not easy. The best hope is for us to help to make forests more valuable standing than cut down.
* We can refuse to buy wood and animals from wild rainforests, but we can also do something positive, such as making the rainforest a valuable tourist destination or donating to people who buy up rainforest land to conserve it. Then it will be worthwhile to the people who own the rainforests to preserve them.
