Q1: What is the rainforest's largest plant-eater?

[Answer]

Large animals are not good climbers, so they are all found near the forest floor.

The largest rainforest animal is the Asian elephant (African elephants do not live in rainforests). Other large plant-eaters are buffalo and boars.

The big hunters are the large cats, such as the jaguars, leopards and tigers. They, too, hunt by stealth and have wonderful camouflage.
