When people talk of rainforests, monkeys often come to mind. Monkeys are just one of many animals that move about within the trees. Others include sloths, lemurs, chimpanzees, baboons and orang-utans.
Many of these animals live on fruits such as bananas and mangoes which grow in the lower canopy.
Their long arms, legs and tails make it easy for them to move along branches and get between trees using lianas.
