Q1: Where do tropical rainforest orchids grow?

[Answer]

In a rainforest, the big trees are often used by smaller plants as a way of getting to the light.

Some of these are also common houseplants, so we will look at them in detail. The first are orchids.

Tropical orchids grow on other trees. They have large numbers of fine roots that can quickly gather water and nourishment from the tree surface. Some of their stems also store water. They produce tiny seeds that are easily blown away by even light winds.
