Most volcanic mountains are like giant cones that rise up from the land.

The volcano erupts from the summit of this mountain where there's a giant pit called a crater.

Below the crater is a long vertical pipe called a vent. The vent connects the crater to the source of liquid rock, which is below the surface in a giant magma producing cave called a magma chamber
