The giant volcanic mountain of Kilauea on Hawaii's Big Island, has its own way of carrying liquid rock to the surface. It sends out fountains of lava that are so hot, the lava is red and yellow. It is also a very runny kind of lava.
Unlike Mt St Helens, people do not run away from this volcano - they actually come to visit it, and a National Park has been created to let people see it.
