Ice sheets

Ice, usually as glaciers, is one of the most powerful agents wearing mountains away. Even volcanoes can have ice caps between eruptions.

The biggest changes take place when ice spreads out in big sheets. This happens in an Ice Age. You can still see what it is like in an ice age if you fly across the Atlantic and over Greenland. This video has weather and ice sheet features. The ice sheet makes up the second part of the video.
