You can make mountain chains like those on the Earth.

What you need is a tablecloth, a table, about 4 people and an atlas.

First lay the tablecloth over the table.

Now choose a mountain chain and look carefully at its shape. The idea is to push the tablecloth by using hands laid flat. If two people push from one side and two people from the other, the tablecloth will crease up into fold mountains.

Move your hands around until the folds look like those in the atlas. This will tell you how the crust was pushed by the moving rocks below.
