Q1: Why do we find so many birds on beaches?

[Answer]

The coast is one of the most densely populated parts of the world – by wildlife.

Many creatures live in the sand, and make food for birds during low tide and fish during high tide.

Rock pools also have a wide range of living things in them – even though living in a rock pool is tough because animals and plants get battered by waves.
