Bunker Hill

In this drive-through video, we explore Beacon Hill in Boston, which is located on the slopes leading to the State House, and is one of the wealthiest and most historic districts in Boston. The video explains the area's origins and shows features such as gaslights and brick sidewalks, Federal-style buildings, the famous Acorn St., and Louisburg Square. The video starts off with a 'driver's view', then shows the same scenes from a 'passenger's view' to the side.

These were in use from pre-war colonial times, and show how infant mortality rates were high at the time, but those who survived into adulthood then stood a good chance of surviving to old age. The cemetery also has the grave of a British soldier killed in the Revolutionary War.
