Evaporation

Pour an equal amount of water into two saucers. Pour just enough to cover the bottom.

Place one saucer on a windowledge in summer or on a radiator in winter. Place the other one in a cool place.

Watch to see which one evaporates away first. How much longer does the slower one take compared to the faster one?
