Collect a range of foods in packets and jars.
On the outside you will find a table showing how much fat and salt are in each one.
To make a fair test, you need to work out how much fat and salt are in a 100 g portion. So, for example, if your jar is 400 g and has 4 g of salt in it, a 100 g portion will have 1 g of salt in.
Now put the foods in a line, most salty first, least salty last. Write down the answer.
Do the same for fat.
Are there some foods that have lots of salt and fat?
What kinds of foods are they?
Should you stop eating them or just eat them less often?
