Test a variety of materials to see which have good grip when they are wet.

To do this, get a washing up bowl and a drinking water glass. Add washing up water and get a lather.

Now try picking up the glass with your fingers, then with a rubber washing-up glove and then with a polythene bag over your hand.

Do you notice a difference?
