One of the best things to do when thinking about homes is to look for minibeasts, things like worms and woodlice.

They don't run quickly for cover when you approach, so you can see where they live easily.

However, you do need to look carefully to spot things.

Turn over a branch or move a large stone. Make a note of what you find. These minibeasts like a sheltered place and many of them only move about at night. But the branch may also be their food, so it's like eating your home – but then there are plenty more homes of that kind about.

When you have looked, put the branch or stone back so the minibeasts get their home back.
