Q: What are these children learning to do?

As we have seen, learning to read the Qur'an in Arabic is important to all Muslims.

In fact, many Muslims also try to memorise as much of the Qur'an as possible.

Those who can memorise it all are considered to have performed a great accomplishment.

Any person who can recite the whole Qur'an may then use the title hafez in front of their name.
