Sikh festivals are celebrated in the gurdwara and in the streets around the
gurdwara.
One way of celebrating includes taking the Guru out of the gurdwara and parading it around the neighbourhood, accompanied by an honour guard of Sikhs.
A free outdoor langar is also part of Sikh festivals.
