Part of Sikh worship involves seeing and showing respect to the Guru Granth Sahib.
Sikhs do not worship the Guru, but they do believe that it contains the word of
God, so it is important to treat it with great respect.
For example, worshippers
bow to the Guru when the enter the darbar, and they never point their feet at the
Guru. Both of these things show respect.
