Q: What two types of head covering are these men wearing?

All baptised Sikhs (members of the khalsa) wear symbols of their faith.

These symbols are often called the five K's because the name of each one begins with a K: kara, kaccha, kirpan, kanga and kesh.

Turbans and head coverings are also important symbols of Sikhism.
