Q: Where are the two common positions for church organs?

The organ is used to provide music as people are seating themselves, to accompany hymns during the service and to conclude the service.

To be an organ, it must have pipes placed on a chamber that stores wind under pressure, the pipes being controlled by a keyboard.

Small organs were used in churches after the 9th century, but large, powerful organs became common in Victorian times.
