What was a village near you like in Tudor times? We can try to recreate it using knowledge of villages with lots of Tudor buildings surviving. You may want to look at Section 7 of the Tudors (What can we see of Tudor times) and see what villages looked like (choose Pembridge, for example).
Find the centre of your village and draw a map with the main roads, the green or market area if you have one and perhaps the church. Your village may have had an inn. Add this near to where the roads cross or in the centre of the village if you have only one road.
Think about where you would place a market, and then add rows of houses along these roads using pictures similar to those of Pembridge. Don't put in too many houses - Tudor villages were small.
