Q1: What was the name for all of the gods?
[Answer]

The Romans took much of their religion from the Greeks.

They, like the Greeks, believed that everything had been made, and was ruled by gods in human form. There was, for example, Mars, the god of war and Minerva the goddess of wisdom. The head of the gods was Jupiter (the Greek Zeus with a different name).

The word for all the gods together was the Pantheon. The place where the gods were worshipped was the temple.
