Q1: Where was the Greek theatre built?

[Answer]

A Greek theatre building, or theatron, (like a modern theatre with the actors in front of the audience) was open to the sky (Greek summers being completely rainless).

It was built in a hollow in a hillside, so theatres could only be built in hilly country.

The theatre consisted of three parts: the orchestra, the skene and the audience.
