Q1: Did the most important gods of ancient Greece live?

[Answer]

The ancient Greeks believed that everything had been made, and was ruled by gods in human form.

They had many gods (for example, Pan was the god of the woods), many semigods (called heroes, such as Herakles) and they told stories (called myths) about the way the gods fought one another and helped the heroes.

But twelve of the gods were the most important, those that lived on Mt Olympus in northern Greece.
