Q1: Who were the Ancient Greeks descended from?

[Answer]

Ancient Greek times began about 800 BC in what we call the Bronze Age - a time before the use of iron.

The ancient Greeks were descended from even more ancient peoples who lived in cities such as Troy (known for the legend of the Trojan Horse) and Mycenae and were ruled by powerful kings such as King Agamemnon.
