In fact, even Tutankhamun's famous tomb is a mystery because it is a small tomb (which is why it was missed by grave robbers) and why it was left untouched until Howard Carter found it in 1922.

It is so crowded that it seems as though he was buried in a hurry in a tomb meant for someone else, possibly a noble. But we have no idea why this was.

In the screens that follow you can get some idea of the fabulous wealth buried with him. But just imagine what wealth must have been buried with the great pharaohs such as Ramesses II, none of which remains due to grave robbers.
