Many of the things that remain from ancient Egyptian times are connected with objects buried with kings and nobles.
Yet most people were ordinary working folk and they have left few traces behind. Nevertheless, there is still a little evidence of how they lived and a few of their objects have been preserved.
One excellent place to see this is the Village of the Workers near Luxor.
