Q1: What natural feature was most important to the ancient Egyptians?

[Answer]

What kept the ancient Egyptians together in such a remarkable way was one of the world’s great rivers – the Nile – which runs like an arrow through the heart of the desert.

It gave food, water and a means of getting about. It was the lifeblood of the ancient Egyptian empire. But it was also seen as a prize by people living nearby, and because of this the Egyptians had to become battle-hardened warriors.
