You can try your hand at weaving if an adult will make you a square frame of wood.

You stand the frame upright and hang some strands of wool over the top bar. You keep them hanging taut using small heavy objects like metal nuts.

Then you thread a strand of wool horizontally between the hanging strands. Push each threaded strand to the top of the frame. In this case, you use one long strand, feeding it backwards and forwards.
