For most ancient Britons there was no sudden change between the Stone and the Bronze Age. Great monuments like Stonehenge were started in the Stone Age and finished in the Bronze Age.
But people were changing their way of living, becoming farmers, not hunters. They were settling down and worshipping gods locally, not through great monuments like Stonehenge. People also began to use metals, first copper in the Stone Age, then harder bronze, thus beginning the Bronze Age.
