As people had to settle down to farming, the had to learn to herd animals and grow cereals. What tools did they use?
The main tool for digging with was an antler from a deer. Sticks would have been useful, too, for example, as spears and for making holes in the ground in which seeds could be dropped (ploughs arrived quite late in Neolithic times). But the all-round useful tool for cutting food, skinning animals and scraping hides was still the hand axe made of flint.
