The end of the first steps.

By now you will have used a reference book or the equivalent online to find out about history and geography (time and place). You will probably have read some interesting facts that you would like to explore. This is how doing a project should work. Let it grow for a while until you find something you think might be intersting, then concentrate on that.

In the next chapters you will see some example of places large and small. Each has something of interest – even the smallest.

When you come to work locally, you can now explore how to make a short movie using a video camera. This is the time to use a camera as you are now looking at just a small area.

But the is more to making a movie than just pointing and shooting. You MUST know why you are taking your movie. We will show why this is so important next.
