The largest concentration of skyscrapers in Britain is Canary Wharf near to the City of London.
As skyscrapers became more popular, there was very little room for them close to the City of London. But nearby there was a large area of unused docks, and this was developed as a new 'city of towers', and now gives a dramatic cityscape.
