Using an Internet search, see what you can find out about redwoods: these coastal ones are the most common, but there are also giant redwoods (also called giant sequoia) in Yosemite National Park, California. To find out about these go to the US National Park Service website (www.nps.gov) and type in the 'find a park' box, type Yosemite, then look for giant redwoods.
